PMU eyebrows with shading is a cosmetic pigmentation procedure in which we combine fine pigment dots into a soft gradient. At Isabels Beauty Club in Munich-Laim, we first sketch the shape and colour, agree on them together and then work the pigmentation in in fine layers. A session usually takes 120 minutes.
This brow option is intended for anyone who wants more fullness and a clearer shape, without the brows looking hard or drawn on. Instead of individual hairs, many fine pigment dots create a soft gradient — softer at the brow head, more defined toward the tail.
Before I pigment, I carefully draw the shape, arch, height and spacing and coordinate everything together with you. It is exactly this preliminary work that decides whether the brow really suits your face later.
What distinguishes shading from hair strokes
With the hair-stroke technique I set individual strokes. With shading I work with many fine pigment dots and create a powder or ombré effect that often looks more harmonious, especially on sparse or pale brows.
How the 120 minutes unfold
I put a large part of the time into measuring, pre-drawing and color matching. Only after that do I build up the pigmentation in fine layers. It is exactly this calm that makes the treatment more precise.
How color and shape settle
Right after the appointment the brows usually look darker and stronger than the final result. During healing the color recedes and the gradient becomes softer. I can only properly assess the final picture once it has fully healed.
Why a touch-up is often part of it
Pigment does not settle identically in every spot. With a touch-up after a few weeks I often even out paler areas and round off the shape cleanly.
Who shading suits especially well
The technique is especially suitable for sparse, thin or pale brows, and often also for rather oily skin, on which fine hair strokes can look less stable.

- Colour selection — Together we choose the matching shade.
- Pigmentation — After numbing, I work the colour pigments in evenly with ultra-fine needles.
- Finish & aftercare notes — At the end I go over the care. A follow-up session usually follows after a few weeks.
