How it works in the studio

Before the session the zone is shaved. I glide the cooled SHR treatment head over the skin; the light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and felt as a pleasant sensation of warmth. I leave out dark areas of skin, moles and tattoos.

Why several sessions are needed

Hair grows in cycles — at each appointment only the currently active hairs respond, which is why we work in several sessions about four to six weeks apart. Hair growth becomes less and finer session by session; a complete stop of every single hair cannot be guaranteed.

How your treatment works

Preparation — Please shave the area the day before; no tanning bed, no self-tanner and no fresh tan. I set the cooled SHR treatment head to the skin and hair.
Leaving out dark areas — Dark areas of skin, moles and tattoos are left out, as the light energy would otherwise discharge on the skin surface.
Light pass (SHR) — I glide the treatment head over the skin; the light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair — experienced by most people as a pleasant sensation of warmth. Hair growth becomes less and finer session by session.
Cooling & finish — Right afterward I soothe the skin. Please avoid the sun in the days afterward and use consistent sun protection; between sessions only shave, do not epilate or wax.

Suitable for

Anyone who would like to noticeably reduce hair growth on a single zone
Darker hair on lighter skin, which responds particularly well

Not suitable / caution

Freshly tanned or sunburnt skin
Very light, blond, red or grey hair, which barely responds
Tattoos and very dark areas of skin in the area — are left out
Pregnancy — consult beforehand

After the treatment

In the days before and after, avoid sun, tanning bed and self-tanner
Use consistent sun protection
Between sessions only shave, do not epilate or wax

Which single zones are possible?

For example upper lip, chin, underarms, lower legs, bikini or the buttock crease. Small zones start from 35 €; the exact selection we discuss individually.

How does the SHR treatment feel?

Thanks to the gliding SHR technology and the integrated cooling, most people feel a pleasant sensation of warmth. I match the intensity individually to skin and hair.
