Cosmetic scalp pigmentation — makes thinning areas look optically denser and fuller, comparable with permanent make-up.
Hair pigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic pigmentation of the scalp at Isabels Beauty Club in Munich-Laim. With fine needles I place colour pigments precisely into the scalp, so that thinning areas look optically denser and fuller — comparable with permanent make-up. A session takes 4–5 hours; after about 28 days a follow-up treatment follows.
Hair pigmentation (SMP, scalp micropigmentation) is my cosmetic pigmentation of the scalp. With fine needles I place colour pigments dot by dot into the upper scalp, so that thinning areas look optically denser and fuller – comparable with permanent make-up, not with a tattoo.
The honest framing matters to me: SMP is a purely optical, cosmetic pigmentation. It does not treat hair loss and does not make hair grow, but makes thinning areas look denser.
What SMP achieves optically
The fine colour dots conceal the light scalp, so that the overall picture looks denser and more even – for example the impression of a short haircut. I choose the shades so that they suit your hair, and work dot by dot.
How the treatment works
After a calm consultation and the choice of shade I place the pigments with fine needles into the upper scalp. A session usually takes 4–5 hours; I work with breaks and match the pace to you.
Why a follow-up treatment is part of it
Depending on the skin's condition, the scalp takes up the colour differently. After about 28 days I condense the dots more finely at the follow-up treatment and even out irregularities. The hair does not need to be shaved for this.
Which hair colours it suits
For a harmonious result I recommend the pigmentation from the hair colour dark blond; red is also possible, grey is not. In the consultation I tell you honestly what is realistic for you.
Honest framing
SMP is a purely optical, cosmetic pigmentation – not a surgical and not a medical procedure. It does not treat hair loss and does not make hair grow. The result is individual and fades over time; a particular durability cannot be guaranteed.
How your treatment works
- Consultation & shade selection — We discuss what you would like and choose shades that suit your hair; I clarify possible points such as acute skin conditions of the scalp in advance.
- Preparation — I cleanse and prepare the scalp and define the areas to be pigmented.
- Pigmentation — With fine needles I place the colour pigments dot by dot into the upper scalp, so that thinning areas look optically denser. A session takes 4–5 hours; I work with breaks.
- Care & follow-up treatment — To finish, I go over the care: keep the scalp dry at first, avoid sun, sauna and the swimming pool. After about 28 days the follow-up treatment follows.
