With focused ultrasound I work in a targeted way in the deeper skin layers – exactly where firmness arises. The warmth stimulates the skin's own regeneration processes, and your skin then works on more firmness over several weeks. It is a treatment for people who want nothing artificial, but their own face – a touch clearer and more defined.
I treat zone by zone in calm, controlled passes and read each area individually instead of moving over the skin in a schematic way – from a small zone such as the jawline or brow area to the entire face, supplemented on request by neck and décolleté. Before each session I take time for an honest consultation: I tailor the intensity individually to your skin and tell you openly what HIFU can and cannot do. Success cannot be guaranteed, but I promise you a treatment carried out with calm, experience and good judgement.
How a session works
After the consultation I cleanse your skin and apply a contact gel. Then I work through the chosen area in calm passes – around 30 minutes for a small zone, about 75 minutes for the full face, correspondingly more with neck and décolleté. I continuously adjust the intensity to how you feel. Most people describe a warm, pinpoint tingling deep in the skin, which is felt to be comfortable to tolerate. To finish there is a soothing care step.
Why the change takes time
HIFU does not work overnight. Many notice a first sense of firmness soon, but the actual change builds up naturally over the following weeks as the skin firms from within. How clearly this turns out is individual and depends on your skin and starting point – honest expectations instead of promises.
