A fresher, more even complexion — light to help with redness, pigment spots and tiredness.
IPL face is a cosmetic procedure with broadband light that is absorbed in a targeted way by redness, pigment spots and tired skin, without injuring the skin surface. At Isabels Beauty Club in Munich-Laim, we use it to let the complexion appear cosmetically more even and fresher. A session usually takes 45 minutes.
IPL for the face is for you when you want a more even, calmer complexion and are bothered by redness, pigment spots or dull skin. Especially on the face, such differences stand out particularly — which is why a targeted treatment is often most worthwhile here.
I work with broadband light that is absorbed by pigments and redness, without deliberately injuring the skin surface. My goal is an optical improvement of your skin's appearance, not an exaggerated promise.
Why the face reacts so strongly
Sun traces, small pigment shifts and fine redness often show on the face earlier and more clearly than in many other places.
How IPL works
The light is absorbed in a targeted way by darker or redder structures. This lets me soften the appearance of pigment and redness.
How the treatment unfolds
For IPL face I plan about 45 minutes. I assess your skin, adapt the energy and accompany the treatment with cooling.
Why several sessions usually make sense
IPL often works best as a series. A single session can give freshness, but a more cleanly built-up result often comes about over several appointments.
The importance of sun protection
Before and after IPL, consistent sun protection is important. I do not treat freshly tanned skin.
How your treatment works
- Cleansing & preparation — I cleanse the skin and prepare it with Microdermabrasion.
- Light pulses (IPL) — I guide the IPL handpiece across the area; I match the light pulses to your skin and concern — usually felt as a brief sensation of warmth.
- High-frequency & mask — This is followed by high-frequency and a soothing mask.
- Finishing care — At the end I nourish and protect the skin.
