A fresher, more even complexion — light for redness, pigment spots and tiredness.
IPL for the hands is for you when the back of your hand looks blotchier or more tired than the rest — a short, targeted treatment for a zone that is constantly exposed to light in everyday life and often shows it first.
Why the hands in particular stand out
The backs of the hands catch the sun every day, but are rarely protected as well as the face — which is why pigment differences and dull skin often appear here especially early. The broadband light is selectively absorbed by these darker spots, without injuring the surface. My aim is a more even, fresher appearance of the back of the hand, not a removal and not a promise.
Short and targeted
Because the area is small, I plan only about 20 minutes — which makes the hands a good addition, for example together with a facial treatment. I assess your skin, guide the light calmly over both backs of the hands and cool. As with any IPL zone: consistent sun protection before and after the treatment, and I do not treat freshly tanned skin — on the hands this is especially important, because they catch so much light.
How your treatment works
- Cleansing & preparation — I cleanse the skin and prepare it with Microdermabrasion.
- Light pulses (IPL) — I guide the IPL handpiece across the area; I match the light pulses to your skin and concern — usually felt as a brief sensation of warmth.
- High-frequency & mask — This is followed by high-frequency and a soothing mask.
- Finishing care — At the end I nourish and protect the skin.
