Permanent laser hair removal at Isabels Beauty Club in Munich-Laim means: an end to the endless cycle of shaving, waxing and regrowth. Bundled light pulses are absorbed by the pigment in the hair and gently interrupt the activity of the hair root in a controlled way, session by session, hair growth becomes noticeably less, finer and lighter.
I work with a modern diode laser with integrated cooling. This makes the treatment comfortable to tolerate and gentle on the skin. Before the first session I take time for an honest consultation: I look at your skin and hair type and tell you openly what is realistic for you, because darker hair on lighter skin responds best, while very light, blond, red or grey hair barely responds.
How a session works
Before the session the area is shaved and cooled. I guide the laser handpiece evenly over the skin; most people describe it as a brief, warm snap, like a rubber band. I adjust the energy to your skin and hair type and work swiftly but carefully.
Why several sessions are needed
Hair grows in cycles, at each appointment the laser only reaches the roots that are currently active. That is why we work in several sessions a few weeks apart. Depending on the area and hair type, that is usually six to ten appointments. Honestly: permanent hair reduction simply cannot be achieved in a single session.
