Firmer contours without surgery and without downtime — focused ultrasound that supports the skin's own resilience.
HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure in which focused ultrasound energy is directed in a targeted way into deeper layers of the skin. At Isabels Beauty Club in Munich-Laim, we use it for cosmetic contour care of the face and treat the entire face zone by zone in a single session. A session usually takes around 75 minutes.
When it isn't just a single area that bothers you, but your face overall looks softer, HIFU for the complete face is often the more sensible choice. I treat the forehead, temples, cheeks and the entire jawline in one session — exactly the zones that together shape the overall impression.
In about 75 minutes I work through the area zone by zone, calmly and evenly. I don't focus on a single spot, but on a harmonious overall picture with no visible transition between treated and untreated.
Why treating the whole area often makes more sense
Your face rarely changes at just one point. If I only treat the jawline while the cheeks above it stay untreated, an imbalance can appear. That is exactly why the complete face is often the more fitting choice when several areas lose contour at the same time.
How the treatment works
After the consultation I prepare your skin and apply contact gel. Then I treat the forehead, temples, cheeks and jawline in a set sequence. I adjust the intensity continuously to how you feel, because every zone reacts differently.
Who complete HIFU is suitable for
This option is mainly a fit when your overall impression has become more tired or softer and it isn't just a single spot that stands out. If you are really only concerned about one area, a smaller zone can make more sense — I assess that honestly for you in the consultation.
How the result develops
HIFU does not work overnight. Many people notice a first sense of firmness fairly soon, but the actual change builds up over the following weeks. How clearly your result turns out is individual; a specific outcome cannot be guaranteed.
Distinction from neck and décolleté
With “complete face” my treatment ends at the jawline. The neck and décolleté are not included and I only treat them in a separate, extended option.
How your treatment works
- Consultation & cleansing — We discuss the zones, then I cleanse the skin and apply a contact gel.
- Defining the zones — I map out the areas to be treated so the energy is delivered precisely.
- Focused ultrasound — I guide the smooth ultrasound head evenly across the skin; the focused energy is delivered into the intended tissue layers — many describe short, warm pulses.
- Finish & cooling — At the end I soothe and cool the skin. Slight redness immediately afterward is normal.
