What happens during a session?
For a complete HydraFacial, I set aside 45 to 75 minutes. It depends on whether we add boosters or LED light therapy. Here’s how it goes:
I analyze your skin type and put together the serums individually for you. Then I cleanse your face thoroughly and prepare it for the treatment.
With the Vortex tip, dead skin cells and flakes are gently lifted away. It feels like a light massage – completely gentle.
Now it gets exciting: the Vortex technology draws impurities, blackheads and excess sebum out of the pores. You can even watch on the display what’s coming out – fascinating and, at the same time, very satisfying!
Highly effective serums with hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides are infused deep into the skin. The skin really soaks up the nutrients because it’s optimally prepared.
To finish, I apply a high-quality sun protection. Optionally, I add LED light therapy for extra collagen stimulation or to help soothe stressed skin.

For beautiful skin in the long term, I recommend a treatment every 4 to 6 weeks. That fits perfectly with your skin’s natural renewal cycle. For more pronounced blemishes, we start with shorter intervals of 2–3 weeks for the first 3–5 sessions. Individual results vary.

My tips before and after the treatment
The nice part: actually very little! The HydraFacial is one of the most fuss-free treatments there is. Still, here are my recommendations for the best possible results:
Before the treatment
- Ideally come without makeup
- No exfoliants or retinol for 3 days beforehand
- No fresh laser treatments on the face
- No open wounds or active sunburn
After the treatment
- No skin-irritating creams for 3 days (retinol, fruit acids)
- Use SPF 50 sun protection
- Drink plenty of water for hydration from within
- Makeup is fine again the next day
- No exfoliants for 3 days
- Your skin is especially receptive now — a good time for high-quality moisturizing care
